Lush Haul | Summer

Do I have the willpower to walk past a Lush store? no..

As the nearest Lush to me is an hour or so away, I tend to make the most of every opportunity I get to pop into a store. There’s something so overwhelming yet magical about rows of colourful and amazing scented bath products, something that I cannot resist..

Here are the items that I picked up:

T H E E X P E R I M E N T E R -
Possibly one of the brightest bath bombs in the store, the experimenter consists of crazy colours & popping candy! This is a HUGE bath bomb and so could possibly be broken and used more than once, the scent consists of Vanilla & Tonka bean and so despite it’s bold and bright appearance, the scent is a lot more subtle in comparison to other Lush bath bombs that are available.

S E X B O M B -
A firm favourite and one that I will forever repurchase, this was one of the first Lush products I ever tried. Filled with Jasmine, Ylang Ylang & Sage this is a beautiful delicate scented bath bomb, perfect for stressful days and when you just need to unwind. Unlike the majority of Lush products, this doesn’t contain crazy glitters or other exciting elements, it does however change the bath water into a beautiful  swirl of purples and pinks- it also makes your skin super soft which is a huge bonus!

T H E C O M F O R T E R -
Another firm favourite and one that my blogging bestie Lauren from beauty division introduced me to, this smells INCREDIBLE and as it’s a bubble bar it can be used multiple times. The concept is to crumble these under the tap to create a lovely nourishing bubble bath, the fact that this smells like Ribena is a huge added bonus!

T O O T H F A I R Y -
I haven’t heard lots about dental care from Lush and so I don’t really know what to expect, the concept of this is to dip your toothbrush into the powder and brush your teeth with that before you’d use a toothpaste- i’ve really started to get into teeth whitening lately and so i’ll let you know how affective this really is.. On the plus side, it smells like strawberry sherbet- throwback to strawberry and bubblegum toothpaste days from my childhood.

have you ventured into Lush lately? If so, what have you picked up?

Graduation Ball | OOTD

If any of you follow me on Twitter, you will know that I recently graduated from college- to celebrate this we had a graduation ball..

Choosing a dress for my graduation ball was SO hard, my prom dress was elegant and simple and so I knew that I wanted to try something a little different- I almost opted for a sleek black maxi option but then this beauty caught my eye. This beautiful dress is from a brand called Chi Chi London that I found on ASOS & the dress style is ‘ Nia’
I love the combination of lace detailing and a high neckline to add an element of vintage elegance, I received lots of compliments when wearing this dress & it made me feel like a Disney Princess! I definitely need to find another occasion to wear it to-

what do you think of my dress choice for my graduation ball? - if you’ve recently had a prom/special occasion, what did you wear?

Love,

Dayna
