The Two Step Cleanse

Up until this year I had always been a one step cleanse kinda person.. Afterall, its quick, easy and convenient to do.

However, since switching and choosing to double cleanse I have noticed a HUGE difference in the overall appearance and texture of my skin and it’s definitely made my initial skincare routine more effective just by adding in an extra step.

For my first cleanse I use the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil from The Body Shop, Camomile is the perfect ingredient as it’s soothing and calming and so wont irritate the skin. It’s also suitable for contact lens wearers and so is super convenient to use on the eye area and take off all of my makeup (even stubborn gel liner!) without using pesky cotton pads.  I dampen my face first with warm water and then rub this oil all over to remove, followed by removal with warm water again.

For my deep cleanse I use Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish, I’m sure you are all sick to death of hearing about this skincare product as it’s been a bloggers favourite for absolute years but this removes any traces of surface dirt that the previous cleanser may have missed and leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished- I think this is due to the combination of ingredients, cocoa butter being one that is present within the cleanser. I apply this onto dry skin and then add  warm water when removing.

& that’s it! my super easy yet effective cleanse routine..

what products do you cleanse with?

Wardrobe Staple | Adidas Superstars

I was in two minds about picking these up for ages but I am SO glad I did, these trainers are my new favourite thing & current staple shoe.

I love how minimalistic yet chic these look and they go with every outfit I’ve been wearing at the moment, a perfect addition to a shoe collection for Spring as you’re never quite sure what the weather is going to do! An added benefit is that these are SO comfy, something not typical of a fashionable piece of footwear *high heels may look good but are somewhat not worth the pain :( *
I picked mine up from Office a couple of months ago and they arrived the day after so I’d definitely recommend Office as a website, alternatively I know that Urban Outfitters stock these as with other high street stores.

what do you think of the Adidas Superstars?
